CRISTA Senior Living’s work today is made possible by faithful supporters who continued their giving by leaving a bequest. After you’ve cared for the ones you love, a bequest to CRISTA Senior Living will become your greatest gift as you provide a tangible and lasting legacy to this multigenerational community.
Through thoughtful planning, prayer, and careful preparation, we will continue our shared desire to enrich lives through multigenerational community living, where our residents, their families and our staff encounter the love of Christ, allowing Him to enrich mind, body, and soul. We’d love to hear if you’ve chosen to include us in your will — but you don’t have to tell us. If you do choose to let us know, we’d like to thank you and pray the Lord’s blessing on your decision.
The impact of your legacy will enable seniors to receive compassionate, professional residential care in a Christ-centered environment. By including CRISTA Senior Living in your will, you make it possible for seniors to live a full life with dignity and joy.
It can be daunting to consider how to begin to leave your legacy. But the good news is that a simple will can take as little as one hour to put together. Having a valid will means that what you own goes directly to the people and causes you care most about. There are a number of ways to incorporate a planned gift through your will.
The donation may be made in two ways. You may have your brokerage firm electronically transfer shares from your account to CRISTA Ministries (our parent organization) account.
Or if you hold the certificates, you may bring them to CRISTA Senior Living and we will arrange the transfer.
To ensure proper tax receipting, please be sure to let us know that you made the transfer, the company name of the stock you’re donating, and how many shares and notify CRISTA Senior Living Donor Relations of your transfer at [email protected].
If you have any questions please call CRISTA Senior Living Donor Relations at 206-289-7835.
Please issue the transfer under the name CRISTA Ministries or CRISTA Ministries F/F/C CRISTA Senior Living:

Naming CRISTA Senior Living as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, bank account or life insurance policy is one of the easiest ways to make a planned gift. When listing CRISTA Senior Living please include the following information on your beneficiary designation form:
CRISTA Senior Living
19303 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133
Federal Tax ID Number 91-6012289
Including CRISTA Senior Living through a bequest in your will or Revocable Living Trust is one of the most common ways to make a planned gift. Such gifts can enable you to make a significant contribution that might not be possible during your lifetime.
Bequests maintain flexibility as they can be structured in many ways and altered to fit your changing life and charitable goals.
Sample bequest language can take several forms. A couple of different examples include:
“I give the sum of $____ to CRISTA Senior Living of Seattle, WA, or its successor organization to be used for its general purposes.”
“I give _% of my residual estate of to CRISTA Senior Living to be used for support of patient care services.”
Establishing a charitable remainder trust can unlock your ability to make a significant gift to benefit CRISTA Senior Living, by addressing many financial and family concerns. With such a trust, you (or others you designate) receive annual income from the trust for life or a set number of years. At the end of the trust’s term, CRISTA Senior Living will receive the remaining trust assets to continue its ministry.
A trust can be established with a gift of property or appreciated stock as well as cash, providing some additional tax benefits like avoiding the capital gains tax. Additionally you will receive a tax deduction for the present value of the remainder interest at the time of funding.
If you believe establishing a trust will help you meet your financial and charitable goals, please contact CRISTA Senior Living Donor Relations at [email protected].
I would like to commend Cristwood Park staff on their efforts to protect themselves and their residents from COVID. It’s been a concern of ours since last March and we have been relieved to see so few cases in the Cristwood Park community. I would like to thank the staff and leadership for their diligence in maintaining good protocols throughout this pandemic.

Exceptional personalized holistic care. Helps keep Mom’s mind active and she flourishes with the nurturing care. Especially of value currently given the COVID restrictions. We are genuinely pleased with our mom's care.
