Community Celebrations

At CRISTA Senior Living, we celebrate Easter with various activities and chapels designed to give our residents a space of reflection and hope. Marty Anderson, chaplain at our Cristwood Park community leads various Easter services at our Shoreline campus. Residents are invited to join a special Palm Sunday gathering and “Stations of the Cross” service, where they can come together and celebrate the message of hope that the Resurrection of Jesus brings. Our Crista Shores community in Silverdale, WA also holds Easter chapel services led by our ministry and activities teams.

Reflection and Gratitude

As we reflect on the significance of Easter, we encourage our residents to reflect on their lives and the faithfulness of God. Spending time in God’s word is critical in the renewal process. It provides an ability to look towards the future with hope. We see this message of renewal and hope in 1 Peter 1:3-5 which says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”
